Financial support for Youth for a Mission (YWAM/JMEM) serves two different aspects: the support of our workers and the support of our homes. Both aspects are dependent on the firm belief that when God calls one to a specific service, He supplies one with all the necessary things for that service. God is our supplier, but how He supplies differs greatly.
Workers
No one with YWAM / JMEM receives a salary from the financial donations that are given to us for general purposes or specific projects. Each worker assumes the responsibility for their own financial support from the direct donations of a circle of personal friends and other supporting organizations such as churches.
A full-time or part-time work depending on this support basis with YWAM / JMEM demands a high degree of personal motivation and willingness to serve from every worker and his or her family. In this way, we also function in our financial regulations regarding the support of each worker in our mission organization like many other mission and welfare organizations as well as Christian churches worldwide.
Homes
Donations and charitable gifts that YWAM / JMEM receive for general purposes or specific projects are used as designated.
We abide by the Donation Regulations of the Evangelical Alliance and use all contributions that are entrusted to us as wisely and economically as possible.
Donation Receipts
For all financial support that our workers or the homes “Nehemiah-House” of YWAM / JMEM receive, donation receipts are issued, as our work is a registered charity.
